“This website is provided by Bill Timmermans on behalf of the men who served with the 737th Transportation Company in Vietnam 1968-69”
I decided to start this website, since so many of you at the last Reunion thought it would be a great idea to stay in touch with your friends of the VIETNAM 737th Transportation Company (Yakima).
I got the original copy of the Company roster from Charles Moorehead, Charley was the Company clerk in the 737th office. I also got a lot of information from my scrap books, Paul Ackerman, Roger Louden and the newspaper clippings about our Company while we were in Vietnam. I will do my best to maintain this page, to keep you informed about your brothers who served with you.
I hope to receive updat
es of mailing addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, what you are doing, etc. to make this site informative. I also have a TAPS (MEMORIAL) page… a list of our departed brothers so they will be remembered by all of us.
On this site we are able to exchange information, stories, pictures, etc. to keep it up to date.
Hopefully I will receive an email address or a telephone number from all of you, so we can stay in touch with each other, especially for the reunions. There were many of you that I could not find when we had our last Reunion and if you are one of them please get in contact with me. There is a list of brothers on the News page and if you know were any of them might be, please get in touch with me.
If you fined any incorrect information on this site, please let me know and I will correct it as soon as possible.
It is my sincere hope you enjoy what I have started and look forward to any information you would like to share.
