Because of your service in Vietnam, the VA assumes you were exposed to Agent Orange. There are certain conditions you may have that are assumed are due to your Agent Orange exposure. This means you don’t have to prove Agent Orange caused the condition, the VA assumes that it did. You may be entitled to claim disability for those conditions — you need only to provide proof of the condition and service in Vietnam.

The VA has announced three conditions added to Presumptive List for Agent Orange exposure (hypothyroidism, bladder cancer and Parkinson’s-like symptoms). If you have any of these conditions, you should contact the VA to file a disability claim.
Defense bill would add 3 new diseases to Agent Orange presumptive conditions list
Hypothyroidism (low thyroid), bladder cancer and Parkinson’s would be added.
